How to get gmail emails to appear under BB Messages?

Hi, I am on a non-BB regular data plan. I could get google mail for mobile and google sync for mobile working fine. I can see my gmail contacts under BB Address Book and gmail calendar under BB Calendar. I also found out a way to get BB Browser to access the internet.

The last thing I hope to achieve is to get my gmail emails to appear under BB Messages. At the moment, I can only see sms messages in the BB Messages. Is there any way to do it?

To get your GMail messages o appear in the messages folder you need to pay for a BIS plan and add your email account to the device. The GMail sync app will NOT put messages in the messages folder.

Yep I know that. As there is a way to get the BB browser to work with non-BB data plans, I suppose there should be a way to get my gmails to appear under BB messages.

I got it to work with Shangmail. It integrates with native BB messages.
