    Hi!
I am just discovering my first blackberry, an unbranded 8120.
I want to use the build-in browser with tcp.
tcp seems to be properly configured: opera mini and gmail works fine.

But i can only access the web through the build-in browser through wifi. If there is no wifi access i recieve a warning: "This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure, your device has an active wi-fi connection an try again".

I already found out, that there should be the possibility to switch between wifi and wap browser: BUT my device has not such an option.

Can you please help me, how to enable the wap-browser?
    Thanks for your help,

    Jan

Let me just fill in here, since I'm trying to help Jan troubleshoot:

Apparently, the issue here is that before the firmware upgrade, both "hotspot browser" and "wap browser" were selectable through "options -> advanced settings -> browser".

After the firmware upgrade, it is no longer possible to select "wap browser" from this menu - it has simply vanished into thin air - "hotspot browser" is the only remaining option.
