Is there a way to turn off all alerts ( except phone calls and alarms) during certain hours.. LIke at night when i am sleeping.. I have tried turing it to vibrate but even that wakes me up... ANy ideas or apps out htere for this..

Set the phone to "phone only". This will only make noise if somebody calls but will not do anything for texts or emails unless you set it to do that in advanced settings. Your ALARM will also work in this mode.

I turn mine to Phone Only at night. Love it.

when you select a profile (loud, normal, quiet, vibrate, phone only) you can choose what kind of ringtone or alert you want for everything. (texts, phone calls, emails, etc....) you can choose volume, tone, how many rings, etc...)

I keep my phone on normal at work, loud at home (so I dont have to carry it around, and phone only at night (so I dont get woken up with emails and alerts but I can still be reached in an emergency)
