I don't know if this helps, but I just bought a 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring with HandsFreeLink this weekend. It works for handsfree calling with my 8130 Pearl. The only thing I can't do is export to the phonebook. (That's actually why I am here; to see if the 8130 supports the "PBAP" profile that Honda says is required to import the phonebook.)
Other than that, my HandFreeLink works perfectly with my Pearl. Maybe Honda has updated their software on the '08's?
