So ive had my pearl 8120 less that 2 months and when i try to scroll upward on the home screen, it enters x7xx7x7...etc to no end, as if i was holding down the zx and cv buttons down repeatedly. when i go into my messages or any other menu and try to scroll up, it will scroll upward, then down a few, and then down to the bottom in no particular order. its impossible to get to where i want to be. i have tried restoring the device three different times tonight and cleaning the trackball...any ideas..??

Sounds like you may have a defective device...if cleaning it and restoring it hasn't helped you may have to take it back to the provider...hope you have a warranty
