    Hey so i just got my pearl 2 days ago and im absolutely in love with it!! definitely the best phone i have ever had! However this morning i replied to some txt msgs and then i got a notification that i had a new txt but i could not view the new txt. I removed the battery for about 30 seconds and put it back in, the notification was still there and i still could not view the new txt msgs. PLEASEEEE HELP MEEE ITS SO ANNOYING IM A TEXT ADDICT!!!

    Sounds like you have the common memory leak problem a lot of 8130 users are seeing. Go to options and status and are how much free memory you have. You may also notice you lost your call history. Do a reset by taking out the battery.

    Hmmm

    Try going to your messages section,
    scroll to the top, to what should be todays date,
    Menu -> Mark Prior Opened

    That should clear the icon

    i went my status and it says
    file free: 13963359 bytes
    file total: 50462720 bytes

    i have no idea what that means haha. i took out the battery nothing happend. Do you think i should take it to my provider and get a new one?

    yah but i still cant see
    the msgs
    but my notifications are gone
    and i just send a txt from my brothers
    phone to mine
    and its doing the same thing

    Hmm thats wierd.
    Call your service provider and tell them to reset your connection to the blackberry network.
    That will hopefully clear things up.

    They'll ask you to pull the battery for 15 seconds.
    When you restart you should be fine.
