Hello, I hope one of you can help me I have a Pearl 8120 and due to a bad OS update it got stuck in a constant reboot cycle, i tried realoading the OS with the guide:
BlackBerry 101: How to Reload the Operating System on a Nuked BlackBerry
It conects to the blackberry and starts the OS install but when it gets to the Wait for Device Inicialization step it just goes back to the reboot cycle, tried uninstalling all software and installing againg and nothing.
That happened to me yesterday, actually! It turned out to be a problem with the Multimedia Card. I don't think it's a common problem but you lose nothing in trying to connect de device without the Card. If it works that way, re-format the Card on a PC.
