    Hi,

    So i just got a blackberry used from my cousin shes moving overseas and she just got the phone about 2 months ago, from T-mobile. I have a 2 year contract with AT&T my phone is a samsung a737.Since she didnt have a contract with t-mobile she opted for buying ca$h the blackberry. Now i tried to use the blackberry with my SIM card but it says not valid. what should i do? BTW my SIM card is 3G network if that makes a difference please help

    You need to call your carrier and request a unlock code for the
    phone. Simply swapping out the SIM cards will not allow the phone
    to work.

    Every phone is initially locked to the carrier it is branded to.
    Unlocking it makes it possible to use it on another GSM network.

    well if that dident work some phone companyies dont like to give you the code google it unlock code for bb8120 or ebay will sell it to you for a few bucks then it should work i did this with diffrent phones good luck
