I have the Pearl 8130 version 4.5 and the messenger got deleted, I have looked everywhere and was told to try bb.com, where they suggested that I try my service provider, who told me that BB messenger was just a trial, and that I had to go to Handango.com to dl it Blah Blah Blah... The only information that I was able to find out is that Alltel is ********.

sorry thats an old version. i didnt notice it.
Try just selecting it in application loader :-)

what os are you running on your pearl? maybe upgrade your os and check blackberry messenger off to install when you do the upgrade might fix your problem
