IDK whats wrong with my blackberry pearl 8130. My desktop manager will not pick it up. It'll say disconnected even though its connected. Does anyone know how to fix this. Get back to me ASAP. PLZ.

when you say the DM will not pick it up, do you mean it won't show up in the program?

check divice manager in control panel and see if the phone is there

Right. The DM will say NONE as device connected. Even though my blackberry is connected to my laptop.

No. My phone isnt in my control panel under programs.

Yes my USB ports are working. My device manager picks up my phone. Just not my desktop manager.

sounds like it may be a compatibility issue between the DM and the installed OS on your phone.

im not sure, just guessing. hopefully someone else will step in and shed some light.

Well recently i had 4.3 DM, but then i jumped to 5.0 DM. Would that have caused a problem?

well if the problem started immediately after the upgrade... i bet thats the problem.

Well i was having problems with 4.3 because the loader application wasnt working.

I would downgrade to 4.6 or 4.7, I've heard some issues with Pearl and DM 5.0.
