Okay folks. i just got the unlock code for little brothers pearl from ATT. he is currently out of the states and cant use it because it was locked. so i called ATT and got the unlock code from them. but i forgot to ask for the steps. Can anyone please go ahead and walk me through the steps on how to unlock the pearl?

How to unlock the Blackberry
*For MOST Blackberry Models:
Click into: Tools, then go to Options, then Advanced Options
Click: Sim Card
Type: mep2 (YOU WILL NOT SEE ANYTHING ON THE SCREEN)
A hidden menu will open: Enter Network MEP Code (255 left)
*For PEARL style Blackberry Models: <7100, 7130, 8100, 8110, 8120> - type MEPP2
Enter your code, press Enter -
If correct it will say: CODE ACCEPTED
