I have my gmail account hooked up to my phone. Whenever I send email from the web (IE or Firefox), my pearl gets buzzed like I have a new message for that sent message. Any way to prevent this? I know when I previously had my hotmail account hooked up, it never did this.

My email settings are set up as:
Confirm Delivery: No
Confirm Read: No
Send Read Receipts: No

I turned this off by going to GMAIL website, loggin in on my user name, then going to filters...i created a filter that automatically deletes any mail from myself. so instead of that message being sent to my blackberry, it automatically gets deleted.

Note that this way will prevent you from having a copy of the Sent message in your Gmail.
