Forwarding hotmail email to my blackberry account

I think I have had my hotmail before 2000, but it doesn't seem to want to forward.

Other than upgrading or changing emails, do I have any other options?

I added my hotmail to the bis and it works fine. You shouldn't have to forward it unless you don't use the bis.

I struggled with this and the only answer I was given is that I had to upgrade to hotmail plus (it's only $19.95/year). It worked though...

I just tried to forward my hotmail to my bb email, it was not work, but now, for some reason MS allow you to forward email to non-hotmail accout... YOU CAN FORWARD NOW...

Also, my hotmail on BIS is not working yet, I hope they will fix it soon

Hotmail on BIS is a NO GO. Some are still getting lucky now a days but for the most part MSN has disabled any kind of POP access to "free" hotmail accounts. If you are able to integrate the account, don't rely on it too much because one of these days it will just stop. From a person who troubleshoots blackberries for a living and speaks with RIM atleast 2 - 3 times a day, If hotmail/msn is your main account for email, upgrade to their plus service which is approx. 20$/ year. That will guarantee constant communication between MSN and BIS.

I have a friend with a hotmail plus account and he couldn't be happier with it.

The rules are, if the account was created BEFORE 2000, then you can add it to BIS, thus no need to forward.

If after 2000, just either switch to GMail (which is better, period, especially for Spam), or get the Hotmail Plus for $19.95 a year. But, who wants to pay for email, why?

I have had my msn account for so long, don't know if i can bring myself to switch.

Maybe forward my mail to gmail and then just get it that way?

Hotmail doesn't allow forwarding to anything but another MSN email account, or "custom domain" email without the "plus" account.

Setup the hotmail in outlook or windows live on PC then try setting up on BB - worked for me just fine

I've gotten both the forwarding to a Blackberry address and just adding it to BIS, I've had my account for pretty much forever but my friend hasn't and it's forwarding just fine... Just switch to Gmail... it's much better!
