Entering text & phone #s with -

Switched to the pearl from the Q. One dislike is the text entering. I have trouble using suretype. Do most of you use multitap? Also, any tricks in entering the - in phone numbers. The symbol key is the only way I know of.

SureType all the way. The symbol key is the only way I know of, but you don't need to haver it in there anyway.

Yeah, none of my phone numbers have the dash.

Why would you ever need a dash? It's the same number either way! 800-123-4567 is the same as 8001234567

caldeco...SureType is great, but does take a bit of time to get accustomed to. One tidbit, when typing, don't look at the screen. That will be your demise! Try putting a post-it note on the screen while typing. That will discourage you from looking at the screen. Once you take off the post-it, you'll see most (if not all) of your message will be correct.
