i tried finding a thread to answer this problem but no luck.

i am downloading wallpaper & ringtones form crackberry & cannot figure out how to get them from my computer to my pearl 8120.

help?

I'm on my first BB and have the 8130 and the way I get wallpaper/ringtones on it is to use the Desktop Manager. Open up Media Manager and it'll display the folder in your BB. You should be able to just Drag and Drop ringtones/wallpapers into their respective folders.

Or if you have a media card (which you should) make sure Mass Storage Mode is enabled and you can just drag and drop without using Roxio.
