So in a nutshell my gf got mad at me for upgrading her 8130 from 4.3 to 4.5 because there is no "cute" or good themes out for it. is there a way to go back to OS 4.3 without hurting the phones software etc etc. Im trying to get her to just exchange the pearl for a curve but she doesnt want to pay an extra $60. thanks!

Just delete 4.5 from your control panel on your PC and just make sure 4.3 is installed to your PC and connect to your DM and it will prompt the downgrade.

yes delete the old os from the computer download the correct one from verizon and then run app loader on dm

If what garz says doesnt work then follow this:

1. Delete 4.5 from your PC
2. Install 4.3
3. Connect your device and open the DM
4. Go to app loader and click on advanced...you will see 4.3 there
5. Click next
6. Sit back and chug a beer

so 4.5 will be under the RIM folder or what?

Just go to Control panel>Add/Del programs>you'll see it there as Blackberry desktop manager 4.5

actually he didn't want to delete desktop manager but the os will be there as well it will say blackberry device software for 8xxx 4.5.xx os

thanks because i will have to downgrade my curve i have to send it back to tmo they sent me out a new curve.
