I removed some applications and when it prompted me to restart I didn't. However after all the applications where removed I did a battery pull when my Blackberry was on. Did this do the exact same thing as when it prompts me?
Why does it matter when you do the restart though? I did it right after I deleted both applications because I did not feel like waiting for two restarts instead of 1. What is the difference?
The truth is that certain apps don't require restarts but I've never found where it wasn't actually the better idea to do the restart. I have no idea how those apps made it through testing and validation without having issues after uninstall.
Do you have a Blackberry now? your info by your username says
"Not a BlackBerry/Smartphone User" Just makes answering questions easier if we know which one you have.
Not sure, I don't know what your file free is, or what you have on it, or what model number, carrier... some Pearls are known to have memory issues. The link above about freeing up memory is awesome, and will really help you out.
I ran the setup wizard on my Blackberry. It deleted the languages that I did not want. Someone else on the forums said he did that then deleted the languages again permanently or something... What's up with that?
You can only easily delete a theme that you added to your BB. The preloaded ones require an OS reload, as explained in the "increase memory" link I gave you. But some of the prelaoded ones need to stay.
To delete one that you added, go to Options> Advanced Options> Applications> scroll to the theme (or app) > hit Menu> delete.
