What settings are you using? The quality of pictures from the 8130 is pretty good.

The pearl has a 1.3megapixel camera. Now a current tech digital camera ranges from 7mp to 8.3mp. If I am not mistaken the curve has a 2mp camera. It's a phone that has a camera function. I take it for what it is.

The 8130 has a 2mp camera, and I think it works pretty good.

This is odd, Mine is waaay better than my env. The flash works decent and doesn't wash out the pic.
Do you have pics set to fine? I think the medium size gives the best resolution also.

One thing I noticed is that most of the pictures I take with my BB are bad quality because you have to stay very still while the picture is taken.
If I'm able to hold still then the picture quality is quite good but most of the time it's blurry and crappy. But that's more human error than the camera....today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday... - 04-08-2008, 01:50 PM #8
yep the pearl is 2mp... it does well outside on a sunny day with a still target

On fine resolution and medium size, I take a lot of pics of moving machinery and it comes out with fine detail.
