Difficulty in connecting to bluetooth

Hi,

Whenever I try out the bluetooth on my Blackberry 8110, it can never connect to any of my bluetooth headsets, or to any other bluetooth phones. My friend, who owns the same phone, has the same bluetooth connectivity issues as I do. Is this common for alot of Blackberry phones? I have my eye on this bluetooth headset branded for Blackberry that is $10 after rebate. If I were to buy it, would I experience the same issue, or will there be none since it's on the same level?

You shouldn't need a BB branded headset to connect it to the device. I am willing to bet you have the same issue. I have a feeling it has something to do with the bluetooth hardware.

You might want to check to see if you phone is under warranty and get another one in exchange.
