Default depressed with my phone

Hey guys.........
I'm depressed....yesterday a bunch of associates at crackberry helped me figure out a solution to my insufficient space matter. It appears they diagnosed me with being a Application W.H.O.R.E! Well after realizing the truth of the matter, and having to decide what app means the most and deleting the one that doesn't! I no longer yearn for my 64MB pearl. I need more space! How in the heck did I know I was going to run into a site called CrackBerry that was going to have tons of free apps that I feel I can't do with out! So here I sit with this "pearls for girls" 8130 going threw withdrawals wanting more apps, but I can't cause I only have a measly 64 MB. Agghh! Crackberry what have you done to me? I need more space.....I.....need......more ......space. You guys don't understand I'm have a sickness .....for apps. Thanks to the crackberry medical staff who helped yesterday, JeNN, Chaz .....etc.

Glad to help.

After doing the memory optimization, I now have over 25 mb free with these apps installed -
(running 4.5, with Docs to go)

Weather bug
Viigo/Tango
JiveTalk
BBSmart Shortcuts
BBSmart Alarms Pro
MaraTick
Google Maps
GetitBack
BerryAnnoying
And 4 launchers

Gotta love "Stoner's Guide".

Is there a way to get BerryAnnoying free or the seller only sells this application?

I suppose you kind of have to pick and choose what you really need on your device. Sometimes it's easy to forget that it is a phone (I know, I know it's not a phone) and not a laptop computer or something. Even though it's a blackberry it DOES have it's limitations.

You just have to make sacrifices to have a bb that runs properly. You don't need every application there is out there. just pick a few that you use the most.

Hey chaz_o, I know how you feel as well! once my carrier came out with an unlimited plan, i went crazy and got so many apps! lol...but memory onmy pearl 8130 slowly went down and i obsessed about it! my solution, I purchased the curve 8330....has 96mb of internal memory! why not upgrade and spoil yourself a little? I noticed you are with verizon, CDMA so why not upgrade? i love the curve so much! I have the following installed:

Vlingo,
viigo
google maps
gpsed
weather eye
bbtacker
maratick
blackberry alerts
cb launcher
blackberry countdown timer

and i still have 52mbs'...lots of room! hah...
consider upgrading,you won't regret it!

Rob

I would suggest getting the 8330 which has 32mb more space than your Pearl now.

I have 4.5 installed on my 8100 (everyone knows how much 4.5 takes up) with the following apps:

(no optimization)
* Opera Mini 4.1
* Google Sync
* Google Search
* 2 Launchers

30mb left

Get JT... I actually installed it for a friend last night and after playing with it, I wanted to find AIM/YIM friends just to have a reason to purchase it.
$25 after discount code.
$15 also, but this license is not transferable. This means if you get a new berry, you need to shell out another $15-$25.
