My understanding is that if you delete some of the programs you don't need as well as some extras such as languages that you are less likely to have memory issues. However if later you realize that you really want that blackberry messenger program or that language, can you reload it either OTA or through desktop manager ?
Also in another post I learned that the better way to exit a program is to "MENU" then "CLOSE" rather than push the RED call end button; the latter just lets the program continue in the background and use memory, Correct?
If you want to load the deleted programs/languages back onto your device you would first install the OS on your PC, then run Desktop Manager and start Application Loader. You can then check the apps/languages and they will be reinstalled.
As for the Menu/Close, that is correct (sometimes it needs to be Menu/Exit). BBWeather is one that I know will continue to run and update in the background unless you select Menu/Exit.
DM is Desktop Manager. You need that on your PC (version 4.2 or higher) AND the OS for your device - whatever version is installed on your device (which for you is 4.3).
ok, i just restarted the pc with the desktop software installed, but it's just doing the same thing as before... i connect the phone with the usb cable and sync it, but i do not know what to do after that... it just shows my aftermarket apps like google maps and junk, but how do i get to the part where i can del the VAD files to deactivate the feature and add new theme files?
