OK I have sold my bb to save a little cash.. however I cannot seem to erase my personal phone number from it.? The service has been cancelled for some time now. I have reformatted it etc.. but the phone # is still on front page from where you make calls..any ideas please? I need to ship it out tomorrow and dont want my phone # still listed as owner. when I go to owner tab in options it is blank.
When the person activates the phone it will change to their number. There is an option you can dial to change the number but you must enter your phone number. If you just don't want them to see your number go to phone>options>general options>show "my number" select NO. Then NO number will show. And when that person wants his/her number on there after activiting they can go in there and change it to yes.
