Hello All,
I updated my pearl with the update in the sticky thread and now my berry starts up and then shuts itself off. Its stuck in a vicious circle and no amount of battery pulls will remedy it. Any ideas?

You have come to the right place Craig.

There are two ways to upgrade your Pearl. If you use the Rogers supplied link, the upgrade is managed by BlackBerry.

The other option is to download and install the software to your computer. That gives you the greatest control over the upgrade.

Your safest choice is Rogers 8100 Device software, it works very reliably.
