CS2 battery in 8130?

ok so my 8130 originally came with a CM2 battery, but i was wondering if a CS2 battery would work. contacts seem to be the same, and my mom picked it up new off ebay for $2

my battery is deadly weak, and i really wanna replace it soon.

Don't use a different battery than that designed for use with your device. BlackBerry batteries contain circuitry designed specifically for the devices they're supposed to be used in, And using the wrong one is an invitation to fail. EBay and Amazon.com carry batteries for your Pearl at a reasonable cost.

I would agree with BergerKing, it might be no damage because the device does not recognize this type of battery and shows it on the screen, and it will not even start up to prevent the damage.
