Compatability of non-BBs with DM

It would be illogical for other brands of smartphones (specifically, the T Mobile Shadow) to work with the BlackBerry Desktop manager, but I'm desperate.

My BB Pearl 8120 will not connect to my school's WPA2 Enterprise wifi network and so T Mobile is sending me another one of their wifi compatible phones to try, the T Mobile Shadow.

I don't want to have to individually move all my contacts to my SIM card. Can I get the data from my DM backups onto the Shadow?

If you can sync with Outlook or something like that sure, as for using the DM to transfer directly to the non BB, don't waste your time asking, not gonna happen, no way, no how.
