I went to Barcelona this week. I made the stupid (with hindsight) mistake of changing the timezone on my 8120 on arrival. All my calendar items were moved forwards by an hour, without asking me.
Got back, and put an item in before I re-set it to GMT. Guess what - it's now an hour earlier.
Driving me nuts - no other phone has done this to me - or am I being dim?
You're not being dim. I asked the same question of VZW and they said that this product does not update the time based on the network like just about every other phone.
I've found the best solution to be changing the time itself not the time zone. That way, you're calendar remains accurate.
