cant create a new email at&t

Hey everyone I just got my gf a used 8110 for at&t. She has a data plan from her old pantec phone and switching was easy...everything works except there is no option to create a new email...I'm a verizon user so I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong...the only choices under email setup wizard are add a BES email or skip setup...it is not on enterprise I'm just trying tocreate a new email for her blackberry to add contacts to bbm since the pin method doesn't work.....

Tried to google but I failed haha....any help is much appreciated!

She needs to contact AT&T and change her data plan to a BlackBerry data plan (BIS). Only BlackBerry specific data plans work on BlackBerrys. Data plans for other phones, even if they are smartphones, will not work.
