when Im tethering on dial up through bluetooth on my 8130, it either just hangs or cuts off anytime any incoming data is coming in thru the phone... texts, im (i turn these off when im using), email, and sometimes just randomly.. Just wondering if there is any fix for this.

First make sure you do not have any interference around you. Things such as other phones and even fluorescent lighting can cause interruption.

Second do you have latest and greatest from Alltel installed? I know they have QuickLink. For other carriers such as Verizon you have to have the software installed on the PC your are tethering with.

That is the Vista 32-bit and XP D/L for QuickLink. Unfortunately Alltel does not support their software for 64-bit versions of Windows or for Mac's.
