Ok, two questions;

1. Has anyone had trouble with their BT headset. I have a Motorola H700 that I used with the samsung I owned prior to getting my pearl. It worked fine with it but not with my pearl. When I talk on the phone is sounds foggy like I'm in a tunnel. I tried it with my wifes samsung and it works fine. Is there a preferred hardware for BT devices for the pearl?

2. Has anyone ever tried the Motorola HT820 wireless headphones with a pearl? If so how did it work?

Im using the HT820 just fine with my 8130. I personally dont find the 820 that comforatlbe, but they work. YOu cant get audio thru bt with the video player, but music is fine.

As far as i know, there is no preferred BT headset that works best with pearls

As for the stereo option, i too have used the 820 and worked great for me. Music was really nice and i find them comfy

For regular BT earpiece, I use the Plantronics Voyager 510. It connects well and sounds good. I've never had anyone on the receiving end complain about the call quality, so I'm guessing it sounds good on their end too.

Foz I'm using the H700 with my 8130, and very pleased with its in/out call quality & performance. Same good perfomance as was on my Razr. Surprised its not working out for you.

I'm starting to wonder if it's unit specific......I am gonna go borrow a buddies ht700 and pair it and give it a try
