My 8120 pearl is not letting my recieve media files useing bluetooth,
It is letting me pair with devices but when i try to recieve a file it tells me its failing,

Well first,you would pair with the device,
With bluetooth on go to media file you want to send,
Press send useing bluetooth,
The other phone would press Receive using Bluetooth
Then allow transaction or whatever press save and wait for file to send

I get threw all these steps untill the file is about to send

Any ideas

you have to navigate to the MEdia Folder where you want the file.

ie:
Media > Music > Then Receive Using Bluetooth
Media > Picture > Then Receive Using Bluetooth
Media > Ringtone > Then Receive Using Bluetooth
Media > Video > Then Receive Using Bluetooth

what are you trying to send? are you sending from another phone or a pc?

Trying to send ring tones from another phone.

ringtones can be a pain in the but. from other non blackberry phones because of the file extension of the file.

you might want to try and email it to your phone instead.

MP3's and video files and pictures work majority of the time but ringtones can be a pain.
