Blackberry pearl 8130 on boostmobile plan

I have been researchin the web all night now looking for a good prepaid plan to run my newly aquired bb pearl 8130 on as 90 a month for alltel with 500 min is robbery. most of what i have found says you cant use the alltel phone even a ulocked one with boost cause they have the iden and alltell is cdma, the reason im asking here is i just read a post elsewere that says boost went to cdma back in jan.
