Do you have to have this on your phone I have the 8130 and it is taking up a lot of room and if I don't need it I want it gone. So do I have to have BB maps on my phone I don't use the GPS.

BlackBerry Maps is optional, if you have no use for it, it is simple to remove.
Options / Advanced Options / Applications. Select it and delete it.
