I just got my pearl about 2 weeks ago, and I've had no problems until today.
I just bought a microSD memory card, and put it in.
I took some mp3 files, converted them to wav, modified them (stripped everything but the chorus) to make ringtones, and using the media manager, converted them for "optimal playback".
now when I go to change ringtones, if i scroll, it'll lock up on me. Just wondering if this is a common problem, a rare occasion, something I did wrong, or if its a bad microSD card.
the card itself is made by Kingston, and generally, kingston is a superior product when it comes to memory, but having worked in a computer store, I saw my fair share of memory problems, and the symptoms are more often than not, system locking.
