I have tried a few black housings on my 8130 and the keypad for an 8110/8120 is certainly different than the one for the 8130. The keypad for an 8110/8120 is basically flush across the back, and an 8130 is recessed.
The rest of the housing is compatible regardless of what model your phone is. I currently have a black housing on mine and am using my original silver keypad and it does work fine.
I've tried ordering a black keypad from a few different sources, even places that distinguish between the 8110/8120 and the 8130, but all I've ever seen are keypads for the 8110/8120.
Wish I had better information, but all I can say is expect to use your silver keypad if you want an all black housing.

I don't suppose you remember which place you got the black keypad from? I've ordered a few so far and haven't gotten one that actually works for the 8130.

Sprint is CDMA. As a matter of fact, all xx30 Blackberrys are CDMA devices.

Don't know if you found any black keyboards but you might want to check out the Alltel version of the 8130 as it has a black keyboard (have one right next to me) sorry to bump thread if you have found it already.

Don't know if the keyboard is going to work but I got one on Ebay with dark chrome sides for the 8130 so we'll see. I can always reuse the silver keyboard if need be.
