I have a new housing for my 8130 but will it void my warranty for my sprint insurance? or does that have anything to do with each other? well thanks an advance

As I understand it, if you open the phone (beyond removing the battery cover), it voids ALL warranties.

Having never taken my Pearl apart, I can not say for sure, however, devices like this often have stickers or other things inside that will indicate the device has been "tampered" with.

It's been said many times that if you put it back together like stock and replace tamper stickers, you can get away with it though. On pearl though, I don't know what the anti-tamper stuff is.
