I purchased a T-mobile BB Pearl 8120 from ebay (unlocked), and it is missing the voice activated dialing (VAD) feature and the "about menu" from the option menu doesn't show anything. I read the forum where you mention the addition of a new OS or the file manager to manage applications. I have the 4.5 manager from BB, but I'm not getting the option to download advance applications, just facebook and two themes. How can I know which system I'm running on? How can I get the VAD feature? How to add yahoo?
Your system is under options>about. It'll say like v4.x At least that's where mine is or if your on the main screen of your BB hold down that alt button and type e-a-c-e and a whole lot of info will show up.
