I purchased a phone from someone (didn't know them, on line deal). Tyring to backup my info to my pc and was asked for the password ??? WHAT?? I'm new with BB and totally lost...any ideas? BB8130
The password? First of all you have Verizon so your bb is a 8130. Second What do you mean its asking for a password for the PIN? Is there a password on the phone?
Ok, first of all it doesn't HAVE to be a 8130 because he's/she's with VZW, he/she just said he bought it online which means its probably unlocked. So I'm going to go with the OP on what model phone he has (which really has nothing to do with this thread, you just point out the obvious to seem smarter I guess?)
It's probably best to contact who you bought the phone from first, check if they had a password set up.
