I thought the pearl comes with 64 megs of internal memory, how come my file total is only 50.46 megs?

They have done what many of us have done. Reinstall the OS and take out the things that they do not need. I am at like 30 and I have a ton of apps. Read John C Clarks thread about it.

I got rid of BB maps, vad, sample video, sample song, and wallpapers. Where can I find another 10-15 mb? I have the allocation memory settings at 12 mb and 0 for pics. I have read john clarks page, don't know what more to get rid of.

How much memory do we need? I run between 13 and 14 all te time and never had an issue. I do a hard reset about once a week.

I have 20mbs left after doing everything in John C Clarks thread. But I also got rid of pocket express, BBmaps and a few others I don't recall right off hand.
