on my 8130 i have the auto on off set for early in the morning, it shuts down fine but when it turns back on a minute later it will start up and stop at the verizon screen and the green light will stay lit, if i hit a key my main screen comes up and everything is back to normal until the next auto on off cycle....
If you use auto off with the phone plugged in, the led lights up to indicate it's charging status, as it does whenever the phone is plugged in and turned off. Unplug it and the light will shut off.
