Could you expand on what you're trying to do? You mean the speed dial feature? I'm not sure what you're referring to.

    Go to phone mode
    Hit the bb button
    Go to options
    Go to general options
    Unselect dial from home screen

    That should do it.

sorry... i realized it wasnt very clear.
when the phone is on the home screen with my L theme for example and i hit a number key, it automatically assumes that i am trying to make a phone call. i read somewhere someone made reference to the fact that you could turn off a feature that makes your phone think that you are making a phone call everytime that you hit a number key from the main screen.
so say for example i want to hit a short cut with the f key... my phone automatically thinks i am dialing a number with a 4 and brings up my phone book and starts a "call"
    hope that makes better sense.

hmm... under general option i only have the following choices....
    auto answer
    auto end
    confirm delete
    restrict my id
    phone list view
    show my number
    default call volume
    and enhance call audio

no choice that you mentioned. maybe am i in the wrong options menu?

The format bberry accepts is: phonenumber x access code #.

for example: 777-777-1111x1234567#. You don't need the dashes in the phone number. Do NOT put any other characters in the access code as it will stop the code entry.

Open your appt, highlight the phone number and access code and hit dial. It works great. I now go in a reformat my calls for the week using this format and have shared the info internally.

can you please let me know if there is an option that allows me to see previously dialed numbers, or numbers in my contact list that start with the same numbers i am dialing? for example, as i dial my area code 214 - all previously dialed #'s would appear so i can scroll and select one rather than dialing.

    thanks!

For your conference calls, you can also try this format in the Location field of your Outlook Invites. I know I appreciate it when I have to dial in to a call while I'm driving or travelling!
