When I went to listen to my music files on my Blackberry Pearl 8120 with the headphones that came with my 8120, I was getting sound only through the right channel. There was no sound on the left. It has worked before where I was able to get (stereo) sound through both left and right. Just last week I downloaded the updated software for my 8120, and I'm wondering if that may have messed up the audio settings. I made sure the headphone jack was fully inserted, which it was. What could cause only one channel to function??? I went to options on my 8120, but couldn't find anywhere to adjust the audio settings, such as the left/right balance. Thanks for any help with this matter.

It could be a short In the headphone itself... Long shot but pull the battery out and try listening to your music again.. You never know but I would say you have a short in the one side
