Default Application Memory consolidation?

Hey all, hoping there's still some traffic in here so that I can have a question answered.

I just got a used 8100 for my li'l bro to use, because he's been buying disposable prepaid devices due to a lack of funds. Anyway, thought I'd surprise him with something a little nicer & something he can BBM me with. So I'm trying to free up some much needed memory space on this thing, particularly in the Application area. So I hook it up to DM, go into applications and there's all of these odd named things. I know I can get rid of the games and I'm thinking these weird names are language packages, I'm just hoping someone can confirm.

Africaner
Ajuda (this one is huge... 4mb, maybe not a language?)
Alemao
Arabe
Catalao
Dinamarques
Espanhol
Frances
Grego... (greek?)
Ingles (is this english, the one I want to keep, or not?)

The list goes on, but this gives you enough of an idea as to what I'm lookin' at. Anyway, they're small things each, but every little bit counts on this thing, as you all well know!

Thanks in advance for any help anybody is willing to be of. I am a "thanks" button clicker, so don't dismiss me to quickly!

Edit: Another odd one that isn't obviously a language pack is this... "video de exemplo do BlackBerry", okay to remove? And "Mapas", is that maps? Sounds like the Spanish version of, seems like I could get rid of it and download the English version of it through App World, no?

alright, well i'm removing them anyway. there's only 24mb available on this thing after removing the games, this might free up a megabyte or two at best, was really hoping that ajuda 4mb was something i could figure out, but imma leave it be for now.

24mbisn't too bad for a pearl, so don't get too carried away and brick your bro's new phone. heck, I only had that much on my storm.

i got rid of a lot! lol!!! i put my sim in it to make sure stuff worked and everything seemed fine. made calls, added contacts, had fave fives screen, sent bbm, etc. All is good. These things must not have a lot on their native OSes. After deleting what I thought was a bunch of language packages & all the games & pointless apps like facebook there's only about 5-6 things in applications loader in DM.
