1. This one is kind of a glitch but hold the caps key and hit the send button twice. You'll go to the call log screen but if you hit esc and come back to the application caps lock will be on.
2. When typing hold down the key until it changes to capital letters.

Lol... I can live with it given the fact that the pearl is so small. I can't imagine having a brick up to my ears when talking. I'm sorry did I say brick? I meant to say the Curve.

My phone before the Pearl was a Treo and although the Curve is thinner, it's wider. It's like putting a TI-85 calculator to your head... Just my humble opinion so don't get your blood pressure up or anything. I'm sure you can list a millions reasons why the Curve is better than the Pearl.

I always wondered why curve users monitored the Pearl thread. I never venture into the Curve thread just because I really don't care. I guess Curve users are more caring people.
That or they're just jealous because they have bricks and we don't

For step 1 follow these instructions:
1. Open Messages and Compose a new email.
2. Move the cursor to the body section of the email so you have more space.
3. Press down the Caps key (right of the 0 / Space button)
4. While holding down the Caps key, hit the Send (green phone button) 2 times.
5. You'll be taken to your call logs screen. From here press the Esc button (between the trackball and the hang up button)
6. You'll be taken back to your email. Start typing and notice caps lock is on.
7. Do disable caps lock, hit the Alt key.
If you can't figure out the second method, you need help.
