Default Adding Apps - Memory Question

I notice there are some apps, games, etc that can be added to the 8130. However removing all the extra stuff I can off the pearl I can only free up 12,000,000 file free. So would I be correct in assuming that you really can't add apps to the pearl or they will freeze the phone up due to the low memory....

Third party applications are important to getting the most from your BlackBerry. Unfortunatly, you have a very limited amount of application space to work with.

Check your setting to make sure you have freed up the maximum amount of space, follow the simple instructions in the MOP.

Hmm yeah thats what I figured, I have almost everything I can think of removed. All I have left is :
    BB Core
    BB 4.3 System
BB attach... (don't know what this is?)
    BB Maps
    BrickBreaker
    Browser
    Email Setup (can't remove)
    Phone
    Pocket Express (for news)
    Sprint GPS
    and Sprint TV

And I can't get any better than 13,439,061.
This is my third 8130 phone in 20 days from Sprint because the phone keeps hanging (where the screen fades to bright white and the phone has to be shutoff and restarted to fix).

I want to love this phone, but with it freezing up 2-3 times daily it makes the phone very unreliable... Suggestions?

I remember those days clearly when I had the 8120. I used Google maps heavily and always ran out of memory. I never had room for more than 3-4 apps. BB need to allow you to run apps off the mem card.

I wonder about this loader Aerize Card Loader 2008 - Premium BlackBerry Utility Software it seems to be the solution atleast partly to the memory situation....???
