There is a slight few differences (at least between the 8110 and the 8100, comparing my two models) but this is just me nitpicking - 8100's camera is set out differently than the later models and the 8100 is more squarish, less round(in my opinion). For example, the bottom corners on the 8100 are nearly a flat diagonal and the 8110's follow nearly the same curve as the bottom half of it. Scroll ball and keyboard are laid out slightly differently, though scroll ball and ring around it are the same - the BB menu buttons, call buttons etc are more flat and there is no divider between the keyboard and BBmenu/back/call/scroll ball in later models. The sides, too, are different - later models have 3.5mm jack while 8100 has 2.5 and 8100 misses the hotswappable SD card slot.
Slight differences that may not be important, however, with the different camera positions you won't get a case for the 8130 that has the same camera slot (so an 8100 with an 8130 case means you won't get to use the camera) and you might have a slot for an SD card you don't have. (tried to include images, but I'm a newbie here - well, at least, I don't frequent here too often so if needed just google image 8100 back and 8130 back)
