Angry 8130 memory card not working

My memory card worked fine until my stupid phone decided it dosent want to see it anymore. Now my BB wont recognize it at all; there is no option to format it although it already was formatted and working fine. I have turrned the card option on and off, power cycled the phone, pulled the battery, and multiple combos of all, ect and it will not recognize the card. I know the card works I can read it on my computer with an adapter. Before this happened Desktop Manager kept wanting to install the same update every time I connected it and seemed squirly so I updated it to 4.7 and it then updated my device and stopped asking me to do it over and over however now the memory card does not work. Any ideas? I use it for work and HAVE to be able to use the memory card. I have tried another micro sd that I also know works and its the same thing.
    Verizon Pearl 8130 4.5.0.77
    Desktop Mgr 4.7
    XPP
    2GB Kingston Micro Sd

    Please Help!

if you can read the card on your computer with an adapter what i would do is use the adapter to read it on your pc goto

    Option 1
    From your Pc
    Start > My Computer
Find the Card, "Right Click" and choose the Format Option.
If you choose Fat and let it format when you put it in the phone it should set the card up with the BB Folders

    Option 2
    From Your Blackberry
Options > Media Card > Click the Menu Buton and Choose Format Card.

Mind you to backup any data on the card prior to the format so you dont loose your precious files.

Thanks! I will try it. Honestly right after I posted I hooked it up and for some reason after 2+ weeks of not recognizing the card the mass memory thing popped up and I can save to it again. Wish I knew why it did it!

could be the last time you pulled the card out and put it back in that the pins aligned properly.

Could have been misaligned or not touching properly prior to that

Ive taken it out and put it back in so many times in the last few weeks after it stopped seeing the card thinking that was the problem and it very well could have been. Its got me stumped!
Can i ask you another question?

ok and now since i dont have 10 posts i cant post a link or image I'll do my best to explain...

on my app loader - available updates there are 2 choices: one is 4.5 (current) the other is 4.5.0.101 for 8130 (current) local installation of 4.5.0.101 however under version both say 4.5.0.77. Which one do install?

i wouldn't install either i would download Sprints 4.5.131 and update to that version.

Once you install the New 4.5 OS to your pc make sure to delete the vendor.xml file it installs before you upgrade to the new Os on your BB

I find that anytime I access the memory card thru phone's emulation, failure to dismount the phone prior to disconnection will result in my card being unreadable by the phone.
