Trying to download BB Msngr for my Verizon 8130. My software is v4.5.0.77.
I go to blackberry.com/messenger, click Download and get "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry Messenger for software Versions 4.0 and 4.1." What do I do?

This same problem happened to me. Plug your phone into computer, load desktop manager, go to add/remove Software.press update software, Press advanced on the side and there should be a list of everything you can download to your phone. Make sure blackberry messenger is
Clicked and press next! It will install it for you!

I deleted it from the device in Jan/09 when I first got it.
Didn't need it. Just freeing up space for other apps. I use a Mac so Blackberry Desktop Software cannot be installed on my Mac as far as I know. Don't think PocketMac will help either.

Oh no! I'm sorry! I don't know any other way for it to work unless you download DM on a friend's pc and do it that way.
