I have an 8120....great phone, never had any problem with it. Yesterday, with about 70% battery, it switched itself off and now will not turn on. I tried charging it and leaving it for a while then turning it on...nothing. Tried a new battery...nothing. Hooked it up to my PC...nothing. Anyone got any ideas?
First, check the battery terminals on the phone. Do they show signs of corosion or wear? Second, make sure both batteries are in good working order.

Did you drop it or possibly damage it in any way? If it's not the batteries or the terminals, it may be an internal short or something along that line.
How long have you had the phone? Do you have insurance on it?
