8120 Pearl has 16g Max, Formatting 32g SD Card into 2 Partitions??

The 8120 apparently has a 16g maximum limitation on the sd card.
Does anyone know if it a 32g card was formatted into 2 partitions, would both partitions be accessible for use?

I believe the OS on the 8120 will only allow up to 8gb cards, and even if it does the 16gb, there isn't a way for your BB to recognize both partitions.
