Lens mysteriously cracked today, phone still in perfect condition, and screen is undamaged. just a crack in the lens. Looked on ebay and have ordered a couple replacement lenses. Will i need any tools. From the look of the new lens and the phone i assume i just pry the old lens off clean up the old adhesive and reapply a new lens, or do i need to pop off the bottom take off the side rails etc. Thank you for your help
Just pry the old one off and clean the adhesive off like you thinkin. Just be careful to not get it wet down there and have a clean work area any dirt that gets in there will drive you crazy. Also pull the battery before starting and hold the new screen on with pressure from both palms to help the adhesive take hold. Good luck.
